I got my first pair of glasses at age 3. They were as thick as soda bottles. I have worn glasses every day since the first pair. Without them I couldn't see; if I misplaced them, it was traumatic! Sixty-seven years later, I had cataract surgery. Now, every day is a wonder to me! It's amazing. Dr. Weisenthal and his staff are to be commended. Angie walked me through everything she was doing during my initial visit. There were lots of steps and drops ahead, but she gave me a chart that made all those eyedrops easy to keep track of! Every nurse and tech in his office handled my visits in the same manner. No confusion about anything! Additionally, on the evening of my first surgery, Dr Weisenthal met me at his office to check that eye ... which had an issue. A couple of drops later, I was on my way home! My second surgery was completely uneventful. I am so very pleased with my results. There was no recovery time involved. That was 3 weeks ago! I recently had cataracts removed and lens' replaced in both eyes. He warned me that my near vision would not be corrected and it could possibly worsen. But the results achieved were fantastic. My distance vision is near perfect and I can now read without readers. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. He called me from home personally the evening following the first surgery because I had been experiencing some dizziness post-op. I thought this was wonderful and caring.
