Dr. Matthew Weinstein

Dr. Matthew Weinstein is a native to upstate NY. After several years in private practice and thousands of surgical procedures he is very excited to join the highly reputable doctors at CNY Eye Care.

He is a board certified ophthalmologist and surgeon. He completed his fellowship subspeciality training in cornea, external disease and refractive surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Dr. Weinstein provides comprehensive eye care, as well as having a focus both in medical and surgical treatment of cornea disorders: such as keratoconus, crosslinking, dry eye disease, corneal transplantation, laser refractive surgery, and laser assisted cataract surgery.

He is a clinical instructor to the ophthalmology residents at SUNY Upstate. He is currently credentialed at Specialty Surgery Center in Liverpool, Laser View, SUNY Upstate Medical Center, Crouse Hospital, and the VA.

He is currently accepting new patients for the Fall of 2021.
