staff. We value our patients and strive to
make every visit to our office a positive one.
You will find our front desk staff courteous and
well versed in obtaining accurate insurance information
and knowledgeable with assisting you with insurance
questions, preparing your chart to be seen by the
doctor and triaging your eye concerns. We also
have a full time Billing Coordinator with 17 years
experience to help our patients with insurance
issues.
Our
caring technical staff is very well trained by
Certified Ophthalmic Assistant whom is active
member of ATPO (Association of Technical Personal
in Ophthalmology) and also a recognized instructor
with JCAHPO (Joint Commission on Allied Health
Professionals in Ophthalmology). It is our goal
to get all our new technical staff members to complete
the AAO (American Academy of Ophthalmology) study
course and test with in 6 months to become an Ophthalmic
Medical Assistant and become fully Certified 9
months later. The technical testing is done by
JCAHPO and re-certification is necessary every
three years there after. We use state of the art
equipment and our technical staff is continuously
trained on proper use of all units.
